Vicki Leonardo, President

Vicki is a market research professional with over 20 years experience, designing both consumer and B2B studies. Her work includes studies for product concept and feature development, purchase interest, brand awareness, advertising testing, customer satisfaction and competitive intelligence.

Vicki has project experience across the value chain from components, to end user equipment and software, to sales and service. She helped drive the mobile communications industry evolution from pagers to cell phones to smartphones.

Vicki's project portfolio includes research on cell phones, pagers, data terminals, system networks, wireless technologies, and semiconductor manufacturing. Key features like touch screens, custom ring tones, text messaging, and Bluetooth connectivity are some examples of the technologies Vicki has researched. She also has experience evaluating market statistics in secondary data from global industry analysts.

Before starting Upstart Research, LLC, Vicki held a variety of market research, marketing and business intelligence positions at Motorola and Freescale Semiconductor. Vicki holds an MBA with a Marketing Specialty and a Bachelors Degree in Professional Management from Nova Southeastern University.
